Monteverde Part Four: Adventures in Education

While in Monteverde we checked out two remarkable schools.  Never know, right?

First, the Cloud Forest School, which the locals call La Creativa.

The very kind Bethany from New Jersey showed us around campus.

 The school had, like most of Monteverde, stunning views.

Beyond having its own private forest, the school has a greenhouse and vegetable garden.  And in the last ten years the students have reforested over 11,000 trees.


Next up was the Monteverde Friends School.
