Baking

Bine got her first cookbook from Grandma Ruthie for Easter. This week she carried it around for a few days "reading the instructions" and finally asked me if we could make blueberry muffins. She was very pleased with the results. So were Pappa and Gussy.

I made my first ever chicken pot pie from scratch today. Reviews were just okay. The kids refused to eat it (B: "I want a blueberry pot pie"), and JA and I weren't so into the "flakey butter crust" recipe I used. Filling was superb, must say.
